Our primary goal is to introduce our guests to the beauty of the region in an entertaining way. Our company’s ability to combine information, tradition, the natural world and high-quality entertainment is enormously important to us.

weTours SALZBURG is looking for a Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager with a prior experience working within a marketing department in the field of digital tourism marketing.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital email marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for all electronic marketing activity
  • Responsible for the overall performance of existing and emerging websites. Manage, maintain and promote our websites with content updates, SEO strategy, linking initiatives and directory submissions.
  • Monitor and manage the presence of weTours© SALZBURG on social media sites. Record progress and identify areas for improvement in KPIs (impressions, engagements, conversions etc.)
  • Responsible for on-going SEO to identify websites and travel booking sites promoting our tours and ensure that positioning on any internet site meets property objectives for copy, photos, etc.
  • Responsible for identifying continual website content and photography updates to keep content relevant and fresh.
  • Responsible for on-going internet searches to identify new websites and travel booking sites, as well manage and promote presence on existing travel marketing sites and ensure that positioning on any internet site meets brand standards for copy pictures, etc.
  • Monitor the presence of weTours on platforms like TripAdvisor, Viator, Yelp, Social Media, Google, etc.
  • Identify new travel portals, including deciding participation levels, connectivity options and evaluating cost.
  • In addition, review all user reviews (positive and negative)
  • Analyse sales data and campaign analytics to identify trends and opportunities for maximizing ROI and profitability.

Who we are looking for

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience in Social Media and/or Digital Marketing is required.
  • Experience working on SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    Knowledge of website analytics tools

Skills and personal Qualities

  • Ability to develop content marketing and contributing to digital engagement growth
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and AdWords
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are essential
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
