Soprano Victoria Browers’ musical journey began in the United States and led her to Salzburg in 2023 — a city where music, history and landscape form a unique unity. Shortly after her arrival, she became a core member of the Sound of Austria Ensemble, captivating audiences with performances that range from Mozart’s operas to Austrian and German operetta, as well as iconic cinematic melodies closely associated with Salzburg.
Victoria’s first encounters with this repertoire date back to her early years, when music was a natural part of everyday life. Drawn to vocal expression and storytelling from a young age, she discovered that singing was not only about sound, but about creating emotional connection. This fascination eventually brought her to Salzburg — a place where music is deeply rooted in its streets, landscapes and cultural memory.
Trained at Stony Brook University, Westminster Choir College, and Ohio Wesleyan University, Victoria further refined her artistry through advanced studies at SongFest, the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme, and in Italy. Her education combines technical precision with an instinctive sense for narrative and atmosphere — qualities that define her performances today.
Since settling in Salzburg, Victoria has performed regularly in concerts, operas and curated musical experiences. Known for her warmth, clarity of voice and natural stage presence, she has developed a distinctive style that feels refined yet personal, elegant yet approachable. Audiences value her ability to make classical music feel immediate and emotionally resonant.
Victoria now lends her voice and artistry to the Sound of Maria Tours, where music becomes part of a carefully curated experience. Performing at meaningful locations throughout Salzburg, she brings songs to life in a way that feels intimate and authentic — shaped by the places where they are heard.
Together with her fellow artists Dana Hammett and Dmitry Iogman, Victoria forms part of a unique musical trio.
